Kiwi Seeds

First started in 2002, Kiwi Seeds are quite surprisingly based in Amsterdam rather than New Zealand! The name's not a mistake however and they do concentrate on preserving the fabulous diversity of cannabis genetics that New Zealand has to offer! The story goes back to the 1970s when New Zealand was apparently awash with a really diverse selection of great cannabis. This was mostly to do with tourists to the country bringing something with them and leaving something behind! By the 1990s however, these genetics were dwindling and Kiwi Seeds thought it'd be a real shame to let them die out.

Partnering with The Dampkring Coffeeshop really helped and this gave them both their genetic stockpile from New Zealand as well as the best of the Amsterdam scene. Putting these two together they've created a range of 15 rigorously tested strains which combine the best elements of their New Zealand genetics with the best of other new strains. Winning a load of awards was a given and their strain Mako Haze has certainly done that. A delightful 70% Sativa dominant strain with a really nice smooth haze flavour and sedative but creative effects this is one of our personal faves! They've also won for Milky Way and Cloud 9. Popular amongst medical users for the effects of their strains and amongst recreational users for the same reasons, we're sure there's something in Kiwi's unusual strain line-up to suit any taste!
