Located in northwest Afghanistan, Sheberghan experiences a dry climate with temperatures ranging from 0-40°C throughout the year and daylight hours extending from 10 to 14.5 hours. The local heirloom landrace is an indica-dominant afghanica that flowers in 9-10 weeks, featuring dark green foliage with potential color changes late in the season and emitting a sweet floral fragrance.
