Haze originated as a multi-Sativa hybrid from Central America, South India, and Thailand, flourishing outdoors without restrictions. As indoor cultivation became popular, the original Haze's impracticalities for indoor growth led to its decline. Silver Haze emerged as a solution, maintaining the potent Haze high in a compact, faster-flowering form, reviving the Sativa's popularity.
By breeding with a potent Northern Lights strain, Silver Haze's height and flowering time were moderated, while the Afghani influence increased bud density and resin production. Despite these adjustments, Silver Haze retains the ability to significantly increase in height during flowering, fitting well with SOG cultivation methods.
