Hello and welcome to the first of Seed City's articles! Here in Seed City we sell seeds from a wide variety of different cannabis seed manufacturers. You can see the whole list in fact and the the logos for each of the seed banks we sell on our front page. In total Seed City sells seeds from 220 different breeders!
It can be overwhelming to see so many seeds from so many breeders especially when you are new to the cannabis seed collecting hobby. Therefore, we thought we would write an article just outlining some of our most popular breeders and some of the most popular strains that they produce / we sell. To begin with I should note that we have added in a popularity sorting feature where you can sort any list of strains you create on our website by popularity. For instance, you can see all of our feminised cannabis seeds listed with the most popular ones first HERE. This popularity sorting is a great tool for checking out the highest regarded strains in any category.
I will now go through some of the most popular seed banks and the particularly popular seeds that they sell! For starters, no discussion of popular seed banks would be complete without mention of Serious Seeds, the founder of which has been collecting cannabis seeds since 1986 and studied biology at a top Amsterdam University. Their AK47 and Chronic strains have won prizes at the Amsterdam Cannabis Cup and deservedly so with AK47 by Serious Seeds being one of the most popular strains available here in Seed City! I would highly recommend checking it out! :-)
Next I should mention a seed bank that we have found to be very popular and that is Vision Seeds who promise "well developed resinous buds and optimal yields". Despite being quite new to the scene this seed bank has some very popular strains such as AK49, AK49 Auto, White Widow and White Widow Auto. Vision Seeds seem to be on the up and up so I would also advise checking them out! One of the reasons I think they are so popular is their very reasonable pricing for the amount of care taken in the production of their seeds!
Moving on we get top a staple of the cannabis seed business and that is Greenhouse Seeds. Always popular due to their advertising and position as one of the very first seed banks makes them a regular on the list of our most popular cannabis seed breeders. It is not hard to see since they have won 17 High Life cups and a whopping 34 High Times Cannabis Cups!! Their range of over 90 feminised strains always prove to be very popular sellers. Greenhouse Seeds most popular strains appear to be Super Lemon Haze, A.M.S and Arjan's Haze #1.
Moving on to another large seed bank we have Barney's Farm Seeds who are always very popular. Barney's Farm Seeds have spent the last 30 years collecting fine landrace genetics and breeding some of the finest cannabis strains available today. Their recent introduction of an autoflowering range has also kept interest high in their seedbank. Some of Barney's Farm's most popular strains are Liberty Haze, 8 Ball Kush and LSD, although they have many strains in our most popular list and so it is always worth while checking out Barney's Farm's whole range.
Another breeder that always sparks a lot of interest is World of Seeds who also like to make mention of their huge collection of Landrace and Pure Origin genetics including strains from Brazil, Africa, Afghanistan and Thailand. World of Seeds has a great range of seeds which includes the always popular Afghan Kush Special, Afghan Kush Ryder and Afghan Kush :-) With a range of 60 different cannabis strains World of Seeds really does have a seed for everyone's tastes.
Another seedbank which is always popular with the denizens of Seed City is Sweet Seeds which is a relatively new Spanish seedbank specialising in highly aromatic and productive strains. They have some very popular sellers which include the always extremely popular + Speed, the new Dark Devil Auto and Big Devil #2. Keeping with the Spanish seedbanks, we have Pyramid Seeds whose strains flow regularly through Seed City and their concentration on producing affordable quality cannabis seeds probably has something to do with that! Moving on to another very popular seedbank we have Sensi Seeds who have been active in the production of the finest cannabis genetics and seeds for over 30 years. The Sensi Seed Bank has a great interest in collecting, preserving and interbreeding the most interesting cannabis strains they can find from all over the world and concentrate mainly on producing powerful and exotic strains to ignite the interest of the cannabis seed collecting community. The Sensi Seedbank has won more prizes in more competitions than any other seedbank and it is not hard to understand this when looking at some of their most popular strains such as Ruderalis Indica, Northern Lights and Skunk #1. We would be remiss in our discussion of the most popular cannabis seed breeders without mention of Dutch Passion Seeds whose range of 122 seeds includes some of the most popular cannabis strains here in Seed City! Dutch Passion were one of the first seed companies around having begun in Amsterdam, Holland in 1987 and they were the first to produce feminised seeds and also the first cannabis seed breeder to list the THC and CBD levels of their strains. This shows the innovation and experience which comes in every pack of Dutch Passion seeds. Dutch Passion have produced such memorable cannabis strains as Auto Mazar, Auto Blueberry and Blueberry!
Moving on from Dutch Passion we have Royal Queen Seeds who tout themselves as the fastest growing seedbank in Europe. They concentrate on producing high quality feminized, autoflowering and medical seeds at the best possible prices. The whole Royal Queen Seeds range is feminized and their selection contains many High Times Cannabis Cup winners such as Northern Light and White Widow. Of their 133 different strains we can say that Amnesia Haze is by far their most popular strain here in Seed City.
Last but definitely not least we have BC Bud Depot who are always a popular choice here in Seed City and having been in the business since 1990 and after producing such amazing strains as BC God Bud and The Purps and also offering a good regular range you can see why BC Bud Depot is a popular choice in Seed City!
