Reclining Buddha is a blend of Super Skunk, Big Skunk Korean, and Holland's Hope genetics. Originating in the 1980s in the Netherlands, Holland's Hope was known for its mold resistance and success in wet conditions. Reclining Buddha inherits these traits alongside the pleasant aroma and substantial yields of its other parents. Initially called Soma Skunk V, its name was inspired by a philosophical discussion. It is a relatively short plant that thrives with extended vegetative growth and minimal side branching, making it ideal for sea of green cultivation. The strain produces narrow buds that are better at releasing moisture, ideal for humid outdoor environments. Its dark auburn hairs mature early, reportedly requiring patience as it needs 9 weeks to fully mature. Known for its sweet cherry candy taste, Reclining Buddha offers an uplifting, creative high.
