This strain results from combining two legendary Canadian varieties: Mendocino Purple (Purps) from Humbolt County, California, and the Purple Kush, acclaimed for its deep narcotic effects and vividly purple, resin-covered buds. Special attention is said to be needed to avoid over-fertilization, as this variety is sensitive to excessive nutrients. Grows best in SOG (Sea Of Green) setups due to its size.
It produces four phenotypes displaying a color range from green to deep violet, with aromas blending the intense earthy notes of Purple Kush and the sweet touches of Mendocino Purps. Phenotypes with purpler buds tend to have sweeter scents, while greener plants offer more earthiness and mature around 5-7 days sooner.
