In our breeding program, we focused on creating feminized and autoflowering cannabis strains rich in CBG, with minimal to no THC content. Following the success of the photoperiod feminized CBG-Force, we introduced Auto CBG-Force, an autoflowering variant.
Our tests showed Auto CBG-Force consistently had lower THC levels (average 0.04%) compared to the photoperiod version (about 0.14%), both under the 0.2% European legal limit. This difference, while seeming minor, can be critical for growers concerned with legal THC thresholds. The potentially higher THC in photoperiod CBG-Force may result from its longer vegetative phase.
Auto CBG-Force is a compact plant, staying under a meter tall, yet it produces substantial yields of CBG-rich cannabis. The flowers appear white and frosty but lack the stickiness common to THC or CBD-dominant strains. While CBG's benefits are promising, further research is necessary to fully understand its therapeutic potential.
