Salpicón was developed by Black Tuna Seeds with the goal of adding a fruit-flavored strain to their line, using Grape Zkittlez in a cross with Mermelada, a mix of Grape Zkittlez, Nicole Kush, and a native male hybrid. The male used for pollination was Colombian Gold (Pink Pheno) x Mazar Sharif, chosen for its robust growth, large dense buds, and large fan leaves. Salpicón seeds produce a fresh fruit salad aroma with sweet candy and crayon undertones, blending old-school traits with modern terpene profiles.
